Overview
I was brought on to lead the brainstorm and ideation of creative, production and delivery of content, lead all Unreal development and implementation, oversee all onsite technical innovation and capabilities, and ensure a proper and safe delivery of the show. I led a team that developed visuals that merge with scenographic elements, 360° live performance capture, and emerging real-time technology including Unreal and Notch, as well as the use of pre-rendered imagery and AI-generated visuals.
The show saw 80,000 fans travel from across the world to experience a once in a lifetime show, set to the thematic of "Solid," "Liquid," "Gas," and "Plasma." Each night of the four night residency saw an entirely new setlist, comprised of a total of 86 songs across the residency. Each song had it's own individual and unique visual displayed across the 16k Sphere canvas.

The Challenge
Phish is a jam band, meaning their songs can last anywhere between 4-30 minutes. Our challenge was to develop a real-time creative ecosystem that allowed us follow along with the band live during their performance. Ensuring we had individual content for 86 songs spanned across 4 nights that could live for 30+ minutes was essential.
This amount of content created over 400 terabytes of data that had to be transfered from 4 different countries all the way to our onsite servers at the Sphere in Las Vegas.

The Solution
We partnered with three different agencies (Sila Sveta, Fly Studios, Myreze), as well as internal and external artists to develop 12+ hours of pre-rendered, real-time, and AI generated content. We utilized Disguise's asset management platform and a GrandMA2 console to control and layer all of the content in real time. This allowed us to pre-program hundreds of different looks that could be seamlessely layered, transitioned, and executed live while the band was playing.

The Results
The show was a tremendous success. We sold out 4 nights at the Sphere, totaling 80,000 fans live in attendance and clips viewed across social media over 20,000,000 times.
